Studio Session

One backdrop. Five looks.

A studio day built around one simple idea: a soft blue wall, good light, and whatever props tell your story. Books, a basketball, pennants, a cap and gown. The backdrop stays the same so the person is the whole picture.

Shot on a single seamless backdrop with a warm, slightly faded film look. Every outfit change gets its own setup, and the colors you bring are the colors that end up on the wall.

Where the idea came from

Inspiration.

A few things that shaped the look of this session.

01

One wall, many stories

Keeping the backdrop the same across every look puts all the attention on the person, the outfit, and the props.

02

Props that mean something

A stack of textbooks, a basketball, pennants from kindergarten to senior year. Objects from real life, not a prop closet.

03

Warm film color

A faded, slightly grainy edit with lifted shadows, so oranges glow and the blue wall goes soft and dusty.

04

Big type, small moments

Bold words like GRAD and grad-ish laid over the frame, paired with a smirk, a kiss on the ball, a foot on a stack of books.

Color palette

Intentional design.

The blue wall, the orange gown, the muted colors brought this shoot together.
